The experience with the Revifrax® is gentle and comfortable. A topical numbing cream is applied pre-procedure to ensure that patients go through it with minimal discomfort. A tingling and warm sensation may be felt.
DOWNTIME
There is little to no downtime for this procedure. Any redness and swelling should subside within hours after the procedure.
You may resume your daily activities immediately with the exception of excessive sun exposure. The skin may feel a little rough or seem darker for the first few days which is temporary.
