Double Eyelid Surgery
Create A Naturally Defined & Balanced Eyelid Crease
Double Eyelid Surgery, also known as Asian Blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure that creates or enhances the upper eyelid crease. By carefully reshaping the eyelid while preserving harmony with your facial features, the procedure helps create a brighter, more defined eye appearance that looks natural both at rest and during facial expression.
What Is Double Eyelid Surgery?
Double Eyelid Surgery is performed to create or refine the upper eyelid crease for individuals with a single eyelid, a low or indistinct crease, or asymmetrical eyelid folds. Depending on your anatomy, the procedure may involve repositioning small amounts of skin, muscle or fat to establish a well-defined eyelid fold that complements your facial features.
Every procedure is individually planned to achieve a balanced, natural-looking result rather than a one-size-fits-all crease.

How Double Eyelid Surgery Works
What to Expect
-
Your surgeon evaluates your eyelid anatomy, skin characteristics and desired crease shape before creating a personalised surgical plan.
-
The eyelids are numbed using local anaesthesia to ensure comfort throughout the procedure
-
A carefully planned incision is made along the intended eyelid crease. Depending on your anatomy, small amounts of skin, muscle or fat may be adjusted before the crease is created and the incision is closed with fine sutures.
-
Swelling and bruising are common during the first one to two weeks. Patients are advised to avoid strenuous activity while the eyelids heal.
-
As swelling gradually resolves over the following weeks, the eyelid crease becomes more refined and natural in appearance. Sutures are typically removed during a scheduled follow-up visit.
