When Dr E. P. Wong began practising medicine, aesthetic medicine as we know it today barely existed. He started his medical career as a specialist surgeon, where precision, judgement and an understanding of anatomy were fundamental. Over time, his interest increasingly turned towards skin health, laser medicine and the emerging possibilities of medical aesthetics.

That interest led him to establish EPW Laser + Medical Aesthetics Clinic in 1993, the practice that would later become Rexults Clinic. More than 30 years on, technologies have changed, treatments have evolved and aesthetic medicine has become an entirely different field. One principle, however, has remained central to the way Dr Wong practises:

Patients who first came to Dr Wong years ago have since returned with their daughters, sons and, in some cases, grandchildren. Different generations may come with very different concerns, but that continuity has become part of the story of his practice.

For Dr Wong, good aesthetic medicine has never been about following every new trend or treating a concern in isolation. Skin is influenced by age, genetics, lifestyle, environment, medical history and the way it changes over time. His approach therefore begins with understanding what is happening, what matters to the patient and what options may be appropriate.

It is an approach shaped not by months or years of practice, but by decades of observing skin and following patients over time.

The Healthy Skin Solution™ is a structured skin-management programme devised by Dr Wong that grew out of his clinical observations and his belief that aesthetic care should begin with the condition and health of the skin itself. That philosophy continues to influence the way Rexults approaches skin care. Over the years, he has cared for patients from Singapore and across the region, including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Taiwan.

Today, as Founder and Senior Medical Director of Rexults Clinic, he continues to practise with the same curiosity that first drew him towards skin and laser medicine, combined with the perspective that comes from more than 40 years in medicine
